You may be wondering about the title when the pictures are so beautiful. To get to Mai Chau you have to take the infamous Highway 6…’the forgotten highway’. Yes, they forgot to resurface the roads and forgot to teach the locals basic road safety.
Just getting here was an adventure in itself, we got on the delivery bus which stops every few hundred metres to pick up some goods – chicken, vegetables, bricks, fish, etc.. – with a planned delivery in Mai Chau. Hardly any people and the one girl we spoke to tried to rip us off by [...]
